
Riccardo C. Bonadonna, MD, is Associate Professor of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Verona, Italy. He graduated from the University of Genova in 1981, took posts at the National Research Council in Pisa, in U.S.A. at Yale University and at the University of Texas in San Antonio, and in Finland at the University of Helsinki. His research interests include the regulation of glucose/insulin system, the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes, the genetics of diabetes, the role of endothelium in vascular and tissue damage, and the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
