When the doctor told me, at the age of 3, that I was an insulin-dependent diabetic, it was like being hit on the head with 2 kilos of sugar! I’ve had to learn to live with it, but since then, thanks to research, my treatment is getting easier and easier. I’m 11 now, diabetes is part of my life – but it’s not written on my face!’
